However,<\/strong> <strong>I have used a 4ply acrylic yarn and a crochet hook of size 3 mm.<\/strong> For this project, I have used yellow, orange, red and also pink yarns. Additionally, you will require scissors and a yarn needle.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hookedinloops.files.wordpress.com\/2024\/01\/img_1791.jpg?w=768\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-198\" style=\"width:160px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:24px\"><strong>Abbreviation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>sl st = slip stitch<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>st\/sts: stitch\/stitches<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ch = chain<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>hdc = half double crochet<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>dc = double crochet<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>tr = triple crochet<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"aioseo-special-stitches\"><strong>Special Stitches<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Puff Stitch:<\/strong> *Firstly, yarn over, then insert hook in indicated stitch, yarn over and then pull up a loop * three times (7 loops on hook). Thereafter, yarn over and pull through all loops on hook. Finally, do chain 1 to secure the puff stitch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bobble stitch:<\/strong> *Firstly, yarn over, insert hook in the indicated stitch, then yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops* 4 times (5 loops on hook). Then, 16 dc in the mr. Finally, join with a sl st to the top of first dc. ch1. Do ch 2 (not considered a stitch). Crochet a round of bobble stitches in each ch-1 space from the last round. <strong>In each ch-1 space<\/strong>: do (Bobble stitch, ch 2). Finally, join with a sl st to the initial bobble stitch, ch1. Ch 3 (not considered a stitch), then crochet 3 tr in the same space. For the <strong>first side<\/strong>: 3 dc in the next ch2 sp, 3 hdc in the following ch2 sp, and 3 dc in the subsequent ch2 sp. For the <strong>first corner<\/strong>: do, 3 tr, ch 3, 3 tr in the next ch2 sp. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, <strong>Repeat the side + corner pattern for the remaining sides and corners.<\/strong> In the <strong>last corner<\/strong>: In the first ch2 sp (where you started), do 3 tr, ch 3, and join with a sl st to the top of the first tr, ch 1. Finally, cut yarn, leaving a long tail. Pull the yarn through the last stitch.
