Petals:

- Then in each stitch around, crochet 2 single crochets (SC). You will have 24 stitches.
- Slip stitch into the first SC.
- For the first petal:
- Chain 3 (CH 3).
- Make 1 triple crochet (TC) in the same stitch.
- In the next stitch, crochet 3 triple crochets (3 TC).
- In the following stitch, make 1 triple crochet (1 TC), then chain 3 (CH 3), and slip stitch (SL ST) into the same stitch.
- First petal completed.
- Then slip stitch into the next stitch, and repeat the petal pattern:
- CH 3, 1 TC in the same stitch.
- 3 TC in the next stitch.
- 1 TC, CH 3, SL ST in the following stitch.
- Repeat until you have a total of 7 petals. Finally, chain 1 (CH 1), cut the yarn, and fasten off.
- There will be 3 unworked stitches from the round (these will be used for leaves and stem).
Leaves:
- Leaf 1:
- Attach green yarn to the first empty stitch from the previous round using a slip stitch.
- Chain 10 (CH 10).
- Starting from the second chain from the hook, work the following down the chain:
- 1 single crochet (SC), 1 half double crochet (HDC), 2 double crochets (DC), 1 triple crochet (TC), 2 double crochets (DC), 1 half double crochet (HDC), 1 single crochet (SC).
- Slip stitch into the stitch where you began.
- Now work back up the other side of the chain using the same pattern:
- 1 single crochet (SC), 1 half double crochet (HDC), 2 double crochets (DC), 1 triple crochet (TC), 2 double crochets (DC), 1 half double crochet (HDC), 1 single crochet (SC).
- Slip stitch into the first SC, chain 1, and cut the yarn.
- Leaf 2:

Stem:
